Some of these presets apply a rainbow to the image. It is the last thing added to the image so if you do not want the rainbow or want to modify it, you can do so easily since it will be your top layer. Also: there is a blur added to the rainbow. Images that are large may require a bigger blur, so in your history undo the last step (which is gaussian blur) and you can add a blur yourself with the blur setting that best suits your image size. Images that are small usually require a significantly smaller blur, so again, you can undo the last step (which is gaussian blur) and add a blur that best suits your image size.
